Epeius has been showing improved form on the all-weather and returns to Turf on a fair mark. Questo made good progress in the autumn culminating in a minor handicap victory at Redcar so wouldn't need much more to get involved if ready after a break. John Quinn has his horses in good form and ANCIENT ASTRONAUT (NAP) can make a successful return. A winner at Epsom in August, he's only 1lb higher here and ended the campaign with placed efforts in stronger handicaps than this. Top of The Bank has won three times on the all-weather this year though it looked as though the assessor had got to him at Wolverhampton but Wilde Extravagance would have a chance on his victory from just 2lb lower at Pontefract in July.
