Verdict
Escobar is the highest rated and goes well fresh. He won a couple of valuable handicaps last year and had Symbolize well behind at Ascot in October. Snazzy Jazzy has never won over this trip and neither has Spycatcher, who hasn’t run since June last year. ALBASHEER has a much longer absence to overcome but he was a smart sort in his younger days, finishing second in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes as a two-year-old. He’s switched to Archie Watson’s in-form stable and is the main reason for Hollie Doyle’s presence today. Mount Athos was a winner here last June and has won twice since at Kempton so can’t be ignored.
