There’s probably not a lot to choose between most of these. Abate normally comes to hand early and Shallow Hal is race-fit but Muker has only raced over 5f so far. Claim The Stars is 0-11 on Turf but Maple Jack ended last season in good form at Ayr and would have a chance if ready to roll. HIYA MAITE won twice on Tapeta over the winter and is still relatively unexposed on this surface. Though conceding weight all round, he might be the one to beat.
