Toy Top would be the one if the rain stays away but that seems unlikely so we'll take a chance with GRUDGE ahead of Babyshambles. Toy Top is a shade high in the weights but she's won three of her twelve starts here and is capable of running a big race but it's a concern that all bar one of her victories has been achieved with firm in the going description. Babyshambles was runner-up in this race last year and returns in his attempt to go one better on a similar mark. He's running well at present, handles all ground and should be in the shake-up. Marginal preference is for Grudge who had too much use made of him after a slow start last time. He had run well on both previous starts this season, has run well at the track and isn't too badly treated. Ryedane is capable of popping up and is considered along with Jilly Why, Rocketball and Grimes Faith but it's to Grudge we look.
