In depth

Verdict

Jungle Jane beat Primo Uomo over 3 lengths here a year ago and should confirm the form on similar terms. Irish Acclaim was in excellent form at Dundalk over the winter but has never faced soft ground unlike Tide Of Time, whose last victory at Navan came on this going from a 1lb higher mark. Colin Keane was on board that day but rides MASTER MATT here. His mount was beaten a short-head at Fairyhouse on Friday and can gain compensation. Sounds Of Spring won a Navan maiden on soft ground in October and has been running well enough this campaign to put him in the frame. Last season's incredible success story A Step Too Far is another to consider in an open handicap.
