In depth

Verdict

Linger has won around here and scored over 1m6f on ground with some give at Gowran last month before finding a 13lb rise just too much to handle at Navan. Hit The Rocks has improved massively and was making his handicap debut when narrowly beaten at Limerick while Papal Parade has won off a higher mark though would prefer easier ground conditions. Eight And Bob has been in fine form over hurdles, winning three times since October, though whether he'll have the pace for this is another matter but WALKABOUT most certainly will. Gordon Elliott's charge returned from a very long lay-off to score over slightly shorter at Limerick in April and though 7lb higher looks capable of going in again. New Vocation, a winner over an extended 1m2f at Dundalk, is likely to be thereabouts off what is still a reasonable mark.
