Warlike Intent has a penalty for an earlier bumper victory and ran poorly at Ballinrobe last time. FIGHTFORTHEROSES was only beaten a length when third at Tramore and was staying on strongly, suggesting this longer trip can bring about further improvement. He gets the nod though Big Tree, runner-up at Wexford, is better than he showed at Punchestown last time. Rasiym started favourite for his hurdling debut at Roscommon but found the minimum too short and this is more like his trip while Gambling Mistress showed enough last summer to be given a chance, despite a long break.
