Verdict

Native Lass looked to have every chance when third behind ARD NA CARRAIG at Downpatrick last month and it would be no surprise if the top weight confirmed the form, despite worse terms, and completed a quick double. Fairymount Boy also started favourite last time, at Galway, but finished tailed off and is not in the same form as in the summer. Dark Outsider fell at the first at Wexford last time so the consistent Buck A Trend may be the pick of his trainer’s two runners.
