The veteran Waaheb has run here once, scoring over fences in 2015. He's 26lb lower over hurdles but it's a long time since he looked like winning. ASK DAVID won over the minimum here in 2017 and has returned to form after a barren spell. A close second at Fairyhouse, he went one better at Punchestown and was in touch when brought down at Gowran so looks certain to take some beating. Churchtown Glen won a Wexford maiden in October and ran well over fences there last time while Crimson Chief also ran well over the bigger obstacles at Clonmel and doesn't look badly treated on his return to hurdles. Fu's Island hadn't shown much for a very long time before a cracking effort at Limerick where she was only beaten 2l. She's up 2lb but a repeat would see her in the firing-line. Any further rain would suit Sea Scorpion, who needs a test of stamina but Chapati has a big weight for his handicap debut.
