In depth

Verdict

Dreal Deal, successful three times over timber, had a run over fences in a Grade 3 in 2021 and can never be left out of calculations. Percy Warner has scored between the flags and twice over timber but hasn't done as well as expected over the bigger obstacles. All Those Years beat Clifton Warrior, who goes in the previous race, on his chasing bow at Limerick and was up against seasoned handicappers at Cork where he made mistakes. Gallyhill has had more experience than most of these over fences and has been coming up against stiff opposition since scoring at Down Royal last May. SOLNESS (NAP), a winning hurdler in France, chased home the smart Saldier on his debut over fences at Thurles then made all at Leopardstown. He looks a nice prospect and can go in again. Chameron loved the heavy ground at Hexham so more rain would aid his cause.
