Some aptitude for the mud will be required and LETHAM ISLAND ticks that box and she is preferred to Hippodrome and Ruby Crown. The steadier of topweight is something of concern but her ability to act on the prevailing conditions is not. It is certainly of interest that connections go with Richard Johnson rather than the less experienced riders that have previously ridden. Hippodrome had some really solid flat form in Germany on the surface and could be a real wildcard. A previous winner at the track, he has to enter calculations. Ruby Crown is another to win at the course previously and seemingly acts on the surface. Sawpit Supreme is potentially unexposed and is one to note in the market. Watch Out has a decent amateur rider aboard though will need to have improved in order to defy the handicapper's rise. The booking of Warren Marston aboard Pavanne is one of the more interesting of the others. Letham Island is the recommendation.
