Verdict

Having travelled strongly into the straight, CAFE AU LAIT (NAP) was worn down close home here a couple of weeks ago. A 3lb rise is an obvious worry but that’s negated by Bridget Andrews’ claim and a first win since joining Dan Skelton looks on the cards. Scartare has been getting closer and looks to be on a fair mark at present. Edward Elgar is better known as a chaser and is rated higher over hurdles while Goodnight Charlie looks held on the form book. Rock And Roll King is eased in grade, however, and could be interesting.
