Verdict
Only three horses in this race that can possibly win and they are Storm Clear, Adjawar and Sarena Special with the vote going to the last named. Jimmy Frost has his team in great form at present with a double down at his beloved Newton Abbot the other day. Sarena Special has been running well in similar company of late and managed a good second at Hereford last time out behind likely favourite Storm Clear. With Richard Johnson an eye catching jockey booking it looks the value bet to reverse the form. Adjawar had been running on the flat before his selling hurdle win at Hereford last month. Since then he was exposed in handicap company so reverts to his own standard today so has to be respected. As does Storm Clear who came from a spell in the doldrums to win a handicap at Hereford last time out when beating reopposer Sarena Special by four lengths. The fact that he has been so inconsistent throughout his career means he is no certainty to show the same level of form this time around and for that reason for the winner we return to the consistent Sarena Special.
