In depth

Verdict

Crystal Dance, Nominate and Peppershot look the main protaganists in this hunter chase with the vote going to Peppershot. The selection won in facile fashion last time out when beating Court Award and although unproven over regulation fences he has conditions to suit and he looks the one to be on. Crystal Dance rates the main danger on his latest second behind Garnett but all his best form is over a longer trip. Nominate was second behind Viscount Bankes last time out and is another with place claims but consistency is not his strong point. Of the remainder, Howard Howard won well last time and is another with place claims but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Peppershot.
