In depth

Verdict

PHOENICIANA didn't look to be enjoying her last start over fences and will probably be happier returned to the smaller obstacles. She has not necessarily been the most consistent of mares but has strong claims on the best of her form and has gone well here in the past, which is usually beneficial. Maxime Tissier has made a good impact since joining Lucy Wadham and a strong run is anticipated. The Crazed Moon is another to have displayed competitive form around here and she, too, will benefit from the hefty allowance claimed by her pilot. Schap and Sunday In The Park have place claims and Brushed Up should be noted on her hurdling debut in view of the good form of her yard.
