Verdict
This looks a straight shoot-out between the penalised pair with little between them, especially when Harrison Beswick's claim is taken into account on PITON PETE - he receives marginal preference. The Sherwood gelding has taken time to find winning form but has controlled his last two races well and will have no problems upped in trip. Dr Des has arguably the better form at his best but he produced a rather wayward performance latest albeit in better company. Fare Thee Well looks booked for third place barring accidents.
