Verdict

Patsio ended a long losing run with last week’s success at Limerick and is upped 6lb. Hurdles winner Artic Pearl has very chance on these terms if taking to the larger obstacles but BLUE EMPYREAN is just preferred. The latter failed to win over hurdles for Gordon Elliott but showed promise for new connections on his chasing bow at Clonmel and may improve enough to come out best in this. Soul Kaliber showed no improvement on his first start over fences and extra headgear is added while it’s even harder to make a case for any the remainder.
