Verdict

This will depend on improvement levels from a few but BURREN SONG, a winner on the Flat at Cork in April, shaped well when attentions were turned to hurdling, coming home a sound third of 14 in a Tipperary maiden hurdle. A reproduction of that run - and with progress expected - will see him go close. Baron Wild showed enough in juvenile hurdles to suggest there's more to come as a four-year-old and it looks a similar tale with stable companion, Laser Focus. Ballyquin Bay has a profile in maiden hurdles to indicate he'll come on for Gordon Elliott too and Prince Of Verona must also be stirred into the mix on a second-place finish in a Cork maiden in April.
