Verdict

A break seems to have done Tom Mcgreevy the world of good. He posted a decisive Ballinrobe success on the back of a decent second here in April, but is now 10lb higher as a result and that may prove a bridge too far with his aggressive running style. Wild Shot spent the winter months going around Dundalk and then returned from a break to score at Downpatrick - a first hurdling success. He should continue to progress. NAME ME FAMOUS sought a hat-trick on his latest start but came to grief two out when still in contention. He is given a chance to atone around a track that should suit, although he would not want conditions to soften further.
