Verdict

Dual point-to-point winner Adams Wood has a huge weight to carry on his return from a very long absence and may just need the run. FINEA landed a maiden hunter chase in May and hasn't been running too badly in handicaps so in a poor contest he looks to have as good a chance as any. The veteran West Ship Master has had 30 starts over fences without winning and Classic Jewel is blinkered for the first time which is hardly surprising given he's yet to reach a place in any of his 15 races including between the flags. Sacre Malta has shown the occasional glimmer of ability over fences while Clashnabrook could probably win this at his best though he's only had one poor run in over a year.
