Verdict

ROI DU MEE won this in 2013 and again last year, interrupting a trio of victories for Willie Mullins. His last two defeats have been behind Don Cossack and he's still perfectly capable of winning at this level. He should be capable of conceding 6lb to Ballycasey, who hasn't progressed as expected after beating Don Cossack in a Grade 1 novice chase at Leopardstown two years ago. The latter's stablemate Turban fell at the sixth in this last year but went on to beat Rubi Light four lengths at Clonmel when conceding 5lb so should have few problems with Robert Hennessy's charge. The veteran He'llberemembered completed a double over hurdles in the autumn but was receiving 13lb from Rubi Light when beaten narrowly at Wexford last St Patrick's Day.
