Verdict
LASH IT ON was a very easy winner at Downpatrick when The Colleen Ban was eight lengths away in second and Sonic Beat a further half-a-length away in third. Molinero and Tory Hill Lad were the last two to finish while Lamb's Cross was struggling when falling four out and it's difficult to see any of those rivals reversing the form. Charles Byrnes' charge is 10lb higher here but must have every chance of following up. Last year's winner Kilmurry Kid is woefully out of sorts at present but Railway Storm hasn't been disgraced in better company at Galway and Listowel recently and is a possible danger.
