In depth

Verdict

FLAMING DAWN made a bright start under Rules at Punchestown in October and was made favourite to go one better at Clonmel last month but found Massini's Brook too strong. He'll need to settle better here but will take all the beating. Dream Beat has had plenty of chances though it's hard to know what she was doing in a Listed race last time. This is more her grade and her earlier effort behind Romantic Fashion at Limerick was a fair performance. Back Before Dawn looks the main threat with her allowances and Nina Carberry on board as she hasn't been beaten far in any of her three bumper races after making her debut over hurdles. Liz Doyle won this in 2011 so her newcomer Googlers Garden is one to note but Katie Walsh's mount Oscar Vespasian was beaten 18 lengths when runner-up at Cork.
