In depth
Verdict
A tricky looking race but with Chopneyev looking best at the weights he looks the choice. A winner on his last two racecourse appearances, the five-year-old showed improved form when stepped up in trip last time out but still retains the speed to land his. Prokofiev, at his best, would rate a live danger but he is unpredictable. Kerrigand won a slowly run race last time out and will not need to improve much to play a role here. Empire Park will be a popular win for the syndicates and this gelding has shown enough consistency in his form to give him an outside chance here.
