In depth

Verdict

Nikap looks the pick of those with hurdling experience on last month’s fourth at Ffos Las, ahead of Huntingdon third Mick Mona, but she is probably vulnerable against less-exposed types. France De Reve was snapped up by JP McManus after winning a bumper in the French provinces in August of last year. She’s been given plenty of time to settle into new surroundings but A PERFECT GIFT makes more appeal. Olly Murphy’s mare beat a useful maiden in a bumper here at the end of last year and the third in that race has already scored over timber.
