Verdict

A winner at Southwell early last month, CHRISTOPHER ROBIN appeared to stay the extra at Market Rasen next time despite only finishing fourth. He races off the same mark here but is one of the more likely winners. Jessica Rabbit got going too late here in July and is only 2lb higher so connections will still be dreaming of a first success. Layerthorpe won three times last season and looked to be on the way back at Newton Abbot while a case can also be made for Southwell second Grand Enterprise, though he has a poor strike-rate.
