Fiori took a bad fall when holding every chance last time out but looks to gain compensation at the expense of Flahive's First and Selberry. Pat Haslam's charge was putting in his best performance for some time at Perth when disaster struck at the last fence. He demonstrated improved form to land a Cartmel handicap but his career has been dogged by inconsistency. Selberry hails from a yard that are quietly churning out the winners at present. He was useful over both fences and hurdles and should have come on for a recent reappearance. Ceresfield has always been something of a job horse. He possesses clear ability and the market must be checked in order for clues toward this evening . He looks the pick over Nephite and Able Native. Special Agenda is consistent but looks a better prospect on a softer surface.
