Verdict

Big Meadow runs his best races here and also handles heavy going. He’s 6lb higher than when scoring over course and distance in January but only weakened approaching the last on a return visit three weeks ago and Harry Teal takes off 7lb today. Clondaw Rigger is continuing to edge up the weights but also has form at the track but Newberry New may find this step up in trip too much to handle. Katenko hasn’t shown much lately and isn’t getting any younger but LUNAR FLOW and Saint John Henry could both play a part if on a going day and the former knows where the winning post is here. Jamie Snowden’s seven-year-old may well come good again having been dropped 3lb since disappointing at Wetherby in February.
