      Verdict

Peterborough does most of his winning over the larger obstacles but did score off a 13lb higher mark over fences three weeks ago so has obvious claims. Encashment placed again at Stratford last month having gone close here the time before but is now 0-17. In the frame twice here after winning at Southwell in June, TEN PAST MIDNIGHT may still be on a decent mark and is getting 7lb from less-exposed Sedgefield runner-up Largy Reach who is making his handicap debut.
