In depth
Verdict
Not a strong race and one in which Temple Dog holds big claims and gets the nomination over Lazy But Lively and Eluna. The selection disappointed on his chasing debut after looking good in racking up three hurdle and one bumper wins. However, his trainer could hardly have found a softer option for him and he must go very close in this event. Eluna might provide the toughest opposition. She looked god as a novice hurdler but hasn't shown too much in two starts over the larger obstacles, admittedly in better company than she faces today. We'll learn more about her today. Lazy But Lively has at least won a chase, at Sedgefield 15 days ago and, with few of these looking betting propositions, has to hold chances again. Of the others, Up The Glen has won here , but that victory came in a selling hurdle. Overall, then, in a modest race, Temple Dog looks the safest option.
