Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with many in with chances on their best form but the principals look to be City of Manchester, Losing Grip and Imperial Royal and the tentative vote is given to City Of Manchester. The selection won a seller in good style last time out when beating Mr Twins and although this looks more competitive he remains unexposed over hurdles and under conditions that suit he is taken to win again. Losing Grip rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Moyne Pleasure. However that form was on soft ground and this faster surface has to be of concern. Imperial Royal is another worthy of respect on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Night Warrior is another that could go, well but he has given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip in the past and for that reason he is opposed. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to City Of Manchester.
