Verdict
Finzi gets a narrow vote in a wide open affair, Midnight Gunner and Elvis Returns could provide most danger. The selection was successful over this trip at Warwick in January and hasn't been disgraced since. He wasn't beaten far behind Coursing Run on heavy ground last time out and if the rain continues to fall his chance will be enhanced. Midnight Gunner is back down to a winning mark and although well beaten on his last couple of outings it has been against decent opposition. Against today's opponents he should go close off what is a nice racing weight. The trip is a slight concern for Elvis Returns, but he did run his best race for sometime when chasing home Regal Term and he may be capable of getting a place. The lightly raced Mamideos is one to watch in the betting market, but Finzi has plenty in his favour this afternoon and he gets the verdict.
