In depth

Verdict

Sakenos gets the confident vote here with Principal Witness and Hiawatha rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fourth in a better race behind Oscatello last time out, this looks easier and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat.Principals Witness rates the main danger as he hails from an in form shrewd yard and was a fair sort on the flat so he should be closely watched in the market. Hiawatha is another that could go well on his latest second behind Dune Raider, that form has since been franked but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Spy Game is game and consistent and is sure to run his race if the fitting of a first time visor improves him but he may just need the run after a 665 day absence and with this in mind for the winner we return to Sakenos.
