Verdict
Nounou, McQueen and Ice Melted are three against the field in a competitive opener and the vote is given to Nounou. The selection was a fair fourth in a better race behind Rabbit last time out, this looks easier and in what looks an easier race he looks the value bet. Mcqueen rates the main danger on her latest second behind Different Class but she is best when allowed to dominate and as that does not look likely she looks worth taking on. Ice Melted is another that could go well on his best form but he was pulled uplast time out so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Popps Princess showed a modicum of ability on her debut and looks sure to improve but for the winner we return to Nounou who looks sure to run his race.
