Ryhope Chief, Beauchamp United and Dream Witness are the three to look at here and preference is for Ryhope Chief. Beauchamp United showed slightly improved form last time to finish third in a maiden hurdle at Newton Abbott. Although never threatening the leaders on that occasion, this is a weak affair and he can play a part. A modest performer on the level, Dream Witness made a promising debut over hurdles, finishing third, having run well for a long way. She will have learnt from the experience and can go well here. Ryhope Chief has shaped well on two starts to date over hurdles and normal improvement can see him take this. There are a number of hurdling recruits in the field and any market moves should be watched closely, but on the evidence of what we have seen over hurdles so far, Ryhope Chief can take charge.
