In depth

Verdict

Kings Quay, Jamaaron and Fosroc are the three to look at here and Kings Quay is taken to follow up his debut success. A winner in selling class over hurdles three outings ago, Jamaaron ran respectably in better company at Stratford last time. That was an encouraging effort but under a penalty for his seller success he may struggle. Fosroc is of only limited ability on the Flat but he shaped promisingly to be third, albeit some distance behind the winner in selling class, on his hurdling bow. he may well be capable of better and can fight it out for a place at a nice price. Kings Quay was once rated 105 on the Flat and although not quite that force this summer, appears to be in a different class to his rivals here. That was underlined when he won on his hurdling bow in smooth fashion at Market Rasen. Kings Quay looks an interesting recruit to the winter game and he can rule here.
