College City, Canni Thinkaar and Power Glory are the shortlisted trio and College City may know too much for his rivals. Canni Thinkaar was a winner over this track and a runner up at Stratford in handicap contests earlier in the summer but then saw his efforts tail off, failing to complete on two occasions. He shaped much better last time, staying on in the closing stages to be beaten only four lengths and can go well here. Power Glory was quick enough to score on the Flat at Beverley, albeit in selling grade last year, and although his overall level of form has been poor, he managed to get to fourth place last time in a novice contest. He can play a part here. A winner at Market Rasen over fences last year, College City has been running quite well recently, finishing runner up on a couple of occasions. He was just touched off last time and that form in a similar type of race can enable College City to earn a degree of success here.
