I'm Always Trying was yet another to seemingly be transformed by the move to the Skelton operation when an easy winner on debut for the yard at Fontwell in mid-June. The consequence of that success is a 12lb rise in the weights which may just prove too onerous a punishment and TIMEFORBEN is just preferred. The Pipe charge has landed two of his last three starts and was probably value for more than the winning margin latest and further improvement is expected. Mahlermade and Kiwayu enter the equation on recent efforts and Masterson cannot be ignored despite showing little or nothing on two Flat starts since the return from a break. Gordon Elliott has an excellent record raiding these shores and the gelding is not to be ignored. Check him out in the market.
