Verdict
Competitive stuff but MODELIGO is one of those likeable handicap chasers who you can set your watch by and who always crops up regularly each season. He benefited from an excellent hold-up ride by Stan Sheppard to score at Stratford in May and should still remain competitive despite a 7lb rise for the victory. Ever So Much is another the handicapper is trying to rein in after three wins from his last four starts but he's a good-travelling type with whom Richie McLernon has struck up an excellent relationship. This looks harder than recent tasks but he remains well respected. McCabe Creek has a claim but Swingbridge and I'm An Izz Wizz constitute a strong Irish challenge and are preferred in that order.
