In depth

Verdict

Lord Olympia,Always Waining and Titian Flame look the ones to concentrate on in the opener and the vote is given to Lord Olympia. The selection was a fair seventh in a class be handicap behind Turtle Soup last time out. The return to novice company looks advantageous and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Always Waining rates the main danger as he has won his last to races in good style but they have been in lower grade and he has yet to prove he stays this far so he is passed over on this occasion. Titian Flame is another last time out winner that could go well as he will like the ground but he is far from consistent so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Penneeck has shown a modicum of ability and has definite place claims but for the winner we return to Lord Olympia whose form looks rock solid in the context of this race.
