In depth
Verdict
Navado is the class horse here but with ground concerns it could well be worth siding with Three Lions. Three Lions is not one who finds these conditions ideal but he has not been totally disgraced when encountering them. A dour stayer in all senses of the word - the trip should not prove a problem. Navado is undoubtedly the class horse in the field but there has to be a major worry about the going. He has yet to be campaigned under conditions so soft and it might not be enough for his class to carry him through. Maldoun's better performances appear restricted to sellers and claimers these days but would be interesting if there is any money. Jaloux D'Estruval should have no problems whatsoever with the prevailing conditions but he has lost his way of late and is on a long losing run. A difficult race for punters to weigh up under the circumstances but we shall chance Three Lions against the likely favourite.
