In depth

Verdict

LITTLE RORY MAC made an early departure on his fencing bow at Newcastle but jumped much better when second at Leicester and any further improvement would see him go close here. Discko Des Plages was only third off this mark at Doncaster last month after winning at Catterick in December so Exelerator Express looks a bigger danger as he drops down a grade after finishing third at Newbury. Maid O'Malley remains winless under Rules.
