MONSIEUR DELAGE is selected to land this selling hurdle despite not been favourably treated by race conditions; the main dangers could well turn out to be Nayodabayo and Granite Man. Monsieur Delage was a winner in this grade on his penultimate start and returned last time at Fontwell for a similar contest but appeared to find the tracks configurations against him there with everything appearing to be happening too quick for him. The additional two furlongs here will suit as all he appears to do is stay. Nayodabayo is exposed in this grade and has never won beyond 2m 4f. He did meet interference in the closing stages last time but it looked as if his winning chance had gone at that point. Granite Man has a different form of headgear on for the first time and reverts to hurdling after seven starts over the larger obstacles. His effort last time was rather laboured but a re-production of his previous efforts would see him involved given this low class level. Chunky Lad and the veteran Three Lions are others who would have chances but Monsieur Delage is selected to land it.
