In depth

Verdict

Purcell's Bridge was a fair third at Punchestown in May when with Matthieu Pallussiere and his first start here for Rose Dobbin. He should be thereabouts while San Telm can improve on his second at Market Rasen in July. But the one to beat may be DANNANCEYS HILL, who was very impressive when landing a point-to-point at Kirkistown in April. He was sold for £160,000 shortly after and new connections will be expecting him to start repaying that outlay sooner rather than later. Walkabout Creek has also won between the flags while newcomers to note include Cranberry Ice and Hogan's Bridge.
