Verdict

Ex-Irish SCHUMPTERS LAD is the only member of the quintet not returning from an absence and Charlie Mann's charge can make the most of his assured fitness. He put up his best showing for his new yard when a fair third behind King's Forest and Crystal Rock and looks to have settled in at his new home after a couple of modest efforts. Definite Dawn is a winning pointer so should handle his new discipline but Gan On looms as a larger threat. She has a decent hurdles rating and benefits from both the mare's allowance and Rachael Green's claim. Oursininlaw will appreciate trip and ground, whilst Unforgettable is the most experienced over the field over fences but returns after an absence of over 600 days. Let's hope he gets round safely at the very least.
