Verdict

Nothing stands out in an open heat but Lawney Hill may eke out further improvement from Balladeer after a satisfactory return to action here last time. Never competitive, her inmate stayed on nicely enough when beaten less than eight lengths and should improve for the run, certainly enough to reverse placings with Folie A Deux. Monroe Park could also be one to progress again and has put together a respectable series of efforts of late. Jocheski, in decent heart on the Flat recently, needs to improve on a selling success last time but hails from a shrewd yard and could well do so. Pairc Na Gcapall remains on a feasible mark but Diddley Dee has his work cut out after being hit hard for a recent course success.
