Verdict
Rosemauve has been running on a faster surface of late but handled cut in the ground in France and is taken to follow up his recent Ludlow success at the main expense of the reappearing Carlys Quest and Shamawan. The selection has been raised lbs for his latest win but that seems perfectly fair and the son of Cyborg is taken to score again. Top weight Carlys Quest has his first outing since June but Ferdy Murphy's horses have been in good form of late so fitness should not be a problem. He rates a bigger threat than Colin Tinkler's Master Ride, who reverts to hurdling having failed to impress in two starts over fences this term. Migwell showed promise at Fakenham recently and has to be respected on his debut in a handicap although a bigger threat may come from Tom Tate's Dr Sharp, who is lightly raced over hurdles and comes here fit and in form from the flat. Pam Sly has her string in good order at present so Standing Bloom is another worthy of a mention along with Jonjo O'Neill's Shamawan, who is well treated on chase form. The vote though goes to Rosemauve, who has done little wrong of late and is taken to continue winning ways.
