Verdict
Le Rochelais showed plenty of promise over hurdles when last seen in May but the lack of a recent outing is of concern and preference is for Moustique de L'Isle who gets the vote over Buck Whaley. The selection confirmed the promise of two runs in bumpers when running out the good winner of a maiden hurdle in the mud over course and distance last month and he has every chance of following up. Red Chief and Touch Of Ebony should both win races at there own level but in this company a bigger threat may come from Jack Lynch, who hails from the in-form stable of Ferdy Murphy. Jonjo O'Neill's Buck Whaley has shown form in bumpers in Ireland and has to be respected but Moustique de L'Isle won with plenty in hand on his debut over timber and is taken to follow up.
