Allude is a consistent sort at this level and is taken to score in what looks a fairly weak seller; Forum Chris and Dollar Law may give him most to do. Mantles Prince would easily be good enough to beat these on his old Irish form but shoed none of that last time at Huntingdon and is one to avoid for now. Dollar Law takes a drop in class after struggling in some better races recently, but would certainly be a threat in this grade. Forum Chris has been plying his trade, with little success, over fences recently but was not entirely disgraced on his return to hurdles last time and cannot be completely ruled out in such a weak affair. However, the obvious one to beat here is Allude. A winner of three races in a row in May and June, he has been lightly campaigned since then and ran perfectly well when second to the well treated Dramatic Quest at Leicester last month. Unlike most of his rivals, Allude is a consistent performer and should prove hard to beat.
