Verdict

This could lie between Liquid Form, Dawn Piper and Big Bradford and we will give the nomination to Dawn Piper. The selection hails from the David Loder yard and although he has had his problems, he looks capable of a big run in this company. He was well beaten in a big handicap behind Thihn last time at Newmarket, but he would have a good chance on his previous second behind Miss George at Lingfield. Liquid Form would certainly be the one to beat if he was racing at his optimum trip, but all his best form has been over further and for that reason a watching brief is advised here. Big Bradford is a big strapping gelding and he is the one we fear the most. He ran a fine race last year over this trip in a Listed race at Ascot when sixth behind Pearl Of Love. He is returning from a break here but if he is at his best he will be a danger to all. Of the remainder, Handsome Cross has shown a fair level of form and is in with a chance, but for the winner we return to Dawn Piper.
